Exceptional Christmas Experience
We had a wonderful stay, celebrating Christmas with a delightful four-course lunch that exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, and the personal touches like a birthday cake and card made our stay unforgettable. The staff, especially Chris and Migle, provided exceptional service, creating a warm atmosphere that felt like home. One area that could improve is the dinner menu variety.

great spots for exploring nearby landmarks and parks
I was really pleased with how close the hotel was to charming attractions like Burnham-On-Sea Pier, just a quick 500 meters away, and the beautiful greenery of Hunt's Pond, which is a lovely place for a stroll or a picnic. plus, the staff went above and beyond, making my stay feel extra special.

One tap on the handbasin was loose, causing a bit of water spillage on the floor—hopefully, that's fixed now. I would've preferred some comfortable seating instead of just a single hard chair. it's tough to lounge on the bed all day. it would be nice to see biscuits available with the tea and coffee. it's become pretty standard to have those included.

Had a blast with my friends here! We visited Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge, which were perfect for soaking up the fresh air. The family room was spacious, and it’s great that kids under two stay for free. Friendly staff made our stay even better!
There was one time the bar had limited drink options. They were out of popular items, so we had to settle for less.

Cozy Stay with Great Staff!
Spent 2 nights here and I was pleasantly surprised! The bed was super comfy and the staff were just lovely. My room was tidy, and I appreciated the nice towels. I enjoyed chilling in the bar area, but the dining could’ve been better. The food prices were a bit steep for what you get.

The Standard Double Room offered a good size for both the room and bathroom, making it feel comfortable for my stay. The free-standing shower worked well, which was a plus for my needs. Breakfast was excellent, with the Full English being particularly delightful—cooked perfectly using top-quality ingredients. The evening meals also impressed, featuring delicious options made from local seasonal produce. I wished for more comfortable seating, as there was just one hard chair in the room. the lack of biscuits with the tea and coffee tray felt like a missed opportunity. The staff were friendly and hardworking, but sometimes seemed overwhelmed with tasks. A little more personalized service would have enhanced the experience. The pub atmosphere added warmth and charm, but the emergency exit light caused disruption at night with its bright glow, making it hard to sleep. Despite that, I appreciated the cleanliness and decor of the room, which made it feel welcoming.

Comfortable Room and Nice Amenities
I had a pleasant one-night stay in a Standard Double Room. The room was very comfortable with lovely big cushions on the bed, and I appreciated the ample tea, coffee, and snacks available. The bathroom had fluffy towels and nice toiletries, although the cold water tap in the basin was not working. I felt comfortable during my solo visit and had a decent meal in the pub.
